Who's Who in Southern Nevada Business 2003
December 30, 2002 - Brian Gordon joined Las Vegas-based Applied Analysis
as a principal in 2000. Gordon has experience in
performing financial analysis, econometric modeling,
financial accounting and reporting and market analysis
for public and private entities. His background in
gaming, hospitality and high-tech businesses has helped
with the firm's most recent endeavor, the Applied
Analysis Gaming Index, a monthly gauge on equity
valuations of eight major gaming-related companies,
comprised of five operators and three manufacturers of
machines and equipment. Prior to joining Applied
Analysis, Gordon served as an audit and business
advisory manager for Arthur Andersen LLP in Silicon
Valley, Calif., and Las Vegas. In addition to a partner
role at Gordon & Aguero Business Consultants & CPA's,
Gordon serves as an outsourced chief financial officer
for an air tour operator with locations in Las Vegas and
Hawaii, maintaining senior management responsibilities
for the company, overseeing debt negotiations and
restructurings, equity financing transactions, periodic
financial reporting, economic modeling and forecasting
and other financial and managerial duties. Gordon is a
member of the board of directors of the Volunteer Center
of Southern Nevada and a member of the American
Institute of CPAs and Nevada Society of CPA's.
As a principal with Applied Analysis, Jeremy Aguero
provides expertise in economic analysis, operational model
development and fiscal impact analysis. He formed Applied
Analysis in 1997, after serving as a market analyst for
Coopers & Lybrand LLP in Las Vegas.
