Since 2012, Applied Analysis has served as a long-standing advisor to the Nevada Mining Association (NVMA), providing economic research and policy insight to support one of the state’s most vital industries. Each year, the firm conducts a comprehensive analysis of Nevada’s mining sector, evaluating employment, wages, production trends and statewide economic contributions. This work includes detailed assessments of direct, indirect and induced impacts and is presented annually at the association’s convention. As part of this effort, Applied Analysis also conducts NVMA’s annual member survey, which captures perspectives from mining organizations on statewide and national trends, workforce outlook and industry priorities. In addition to its flagship report, the firm responds to ad hoc research requests throughout the year, supporting NVMA’s legislative priorities, regulatory initiatives and public policy engagement.
