The Economic Fiscal and Social Impact of Nevada’s Tourism Industry

Since 2007, Applied Analysis has partnered with the Nevada Resort Association to produce the state’s gaming fact book, offering a comprehensive look at the economic, fiscal and social contributions of Nevada’s resort and tourism industry. The 2025 Nevada Gaming Fact Book highlights that tourism generates $98 billion in economic output, supports more than 436,000 jobs and contributes $24.4 billion in wages, representing a significant share of the state’s GDP and employment. The report also demonstrates how the industry helps fund more than $2 billion in public services annually, lowers tax burdens for residents and drives critical investments in infrastructure, sustainability and workforce development. As Nevada maintains its position as a national leader in tourism and gaming, the Fact Book remains a trusted resource for policymakers, industry professionals and community partners.
